Tallay Law on Tour: A Month of Law, Life, and a Little Europe

Hello from the other side of the world 👋 — where the Wi-Fi is steady, the coffee is strong, and the view out the “office” window looks a little more like cobblestones and castles than the Gold Coast skyline.

From 17 August to 16 September, we’ve taken Tallay Law on the road, working remotely across Europe. This trip is part heritage journey (our Irish roots have been tugging at us for years 🍀), part family adventure, and part experiment in living out our own version of balance: good work, good people… with a pastry or two on the side.

Working From Castles and Cafés

Our laptops might be tucked into backpacks instead of desk drawers, but the work hasn’t skipped a beat. Mornings often start with coffee in a tucked-away café, emails open while the locals rush in for their espressos. By mid-afternoon, we’re logging into client calls, perfectly aligned with Queensland time.

Between 3 pm and 6 pm QLD time, you’ll still find Tom or Elisha available for call-backs, while the rest of our team is holding steady at home base, making sure nothing slips through the cracks. The rhythm is different, but the standard hasn’t changed.

The Blend We Always Talk About

Tallay was built on the belief that law doesn’t have to be rigid — that it can fit into the way people actually live. This month, we’re living that ethos ourselves.

One moment, we’re reviewing contracts under the shadow of an Irish castle. The next, we’re catching up with clients back home, Wi-Fi bouncing between time zones. It’s proof that good work and a good life don’t need to compete.

Why We’re Sharing This

Because behind the documents, disputes, and legal strategies, we’re people too. People who love our work but also love history, family, culture, and travel. People who believe that when you live fully, you work better.

And because we know you love a little behind-the-scenes — so yes, expect the odd photo of pastries 🥐, cobblestones, or a cheeky pub in Dublin.

Come Along With Us

We’ll be sharing snippets throughout the journey, so if you’ve got travel tips or hidden gems in Europe, we’re all ears. And if you’ve got legal work that needs doing? We’ve got that covered too — castles or no castles.

Here’s to a month of law, life, and living the Tallay way.
