Co-Founder & Senior Lawyer
Tom co-founded Tallay in 2024 and brings deep expertise in property, commercial, and dispute law — grounded in years at larger firms and hands-on experience across QLD and NSW. He’s passionate about reshaping the legal industry into something more supportive and genuinely people-focused.
Tom is a director of People in Strata, an organisation that creates safe, professional spaces for connection and industry growth. He also serves on the Strata Community Australia (QLD) Education Committee and sits on the board of Gold Coast Rugby — combining his love for sport, leadership, and building strong communities.

Elisha Hodgson
Co-Founder & Senior Lawyer
Elisha is Tallay’s co-founder and the warm, practical force behind everything from property law to resolving disputes. With many years of legal experience, she believes in law that’s approachable and built around each client’s world.
Her commitment to community goes far beyond legal advice. She’s been a high-level competitor, coach, and mentor in the equestrian community. Elisha also served four years on the Gold Coast District Law Association Committee and sits on the board of the Gold Coast Community Fund — a non-profit that has raised over $20 million to support locals in need.

Jordan Stimpson
Jordan Stimpson is a Paralegal at Tallay Law with over 15 years of experience supporting clients and legal teams across a wide range of matters. She’s known for her attention to detail, efficiency, and practical approach to achieving the best outcomes.
Jordan provides professional yet approachable service, ensuring clients feel supported and the legal process remains smooth and stress-free.
Outside of work, she loves exploring the outdoors with her two daughters and spent 12 months travelling Australia in a caravan, with Ningaloo Reef remaining her favourite spot.

Sharon Barnes
Senior Conveyancer
Sharon Barnes is the Senior Conveyancer at Tallay Law, with over 30 years of experience across Victoria, NSW, and Queensland. A Certified Licensed Conveyancer since 2001, she also holds an Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing from RMIT University.
Sharon is known for her clear, personal approach, guiding clients through the buying or selling process with confidence and ease. She values genuine communication and strives to make every transaction smooth and stress-free.
Outside of work, Sharon enjoys time with her Samoyed and three horses, taking caravan trips to visit family, and supporting the Animal Welfare League.
